YANTRA

Yantra Salon & Spa was conceived as a premium wellness and beauty destination that blends contemporary functionality with the rich architectural character of Rajasthan. The building features a striking sandstone façade inspired by traditional Jodhpuri architecture, incorporating elegant arched openings, recessed windows, and finely proportioned massing. Designed to create a luxurious and calming environment, the project establishes a strong visual identity while offering modern salon, spa, and wellness facilities within a sophisticated commercial setting.

Requirements
The project required the creation of a comprehensive wellness facility that could accommodate salon services, spa treatments, beauty consultation spaces, waiting lounges, administration areas, and support facilities. The design needed to provide privacy, comfort, and seamless circulation while maintaining a premium customer experience. A distinctive façade was also essential to strengthen brand recognition and create a memorable presence within the urban context.

Design Intent
The design intent was to reinterpret traditional Rajasthani architectural elements in a contemporary commercial format. Inspired by the heritage architecture of Jodhpur, the façade utilizes repetitive arched motifs, deep window reveals, and sandstone textures to create depth and visual richness. The building balances tradition and modernity, presenting an elegant exterior while housing state-of-the-art wellness spaces. The overall composition was designed to evoke a sense of luxury, tranquility, and cultural connection.

Materials Used
The project primarily utilizes Jodhpur red sandstone cladding, chosen for its timeless appearance and strong regional identity. Large glazed openings with aluminum framing provide natural light while maintaining energy efficiency. The interiors incorporate premium finishes such as natural stone, wood veneers, textured wall surfaces, decorative lighting, and high-quality furnishings to create a refined and relaxing atmosphere. The combination of traditional materials and contemporary detailing reinforces the project's unique architectural character.
