MANGO

Mango Hotels is a contemporary hospitality project designed to provide a comfortable, efficient, and visually distinctive stay experience for business and leisure travelers. The architecture adopts a clean and modern expression characterized by strong vertical elements, balanced proportions, and a restrained material palette that enhances the building's urban presence..

Requirements
The project brief required the development of a mid-scale business hotel offering comfortable guest accommodation, efficient circulation, and a strong visual identity. The design needed to maximize room efficiency while ensuring adequate natural light, ventilation, privacy, and guest comfort.
Additional requirements included a prominent entrance experience, clear brand visibility, durable exterior finishes, efficient service planning, and a façade treatment capable of providing both visual appeal and climatic responsiveness. The building was also envisioned as a recognizable landmark within its urban context.

Design Intent
The primary design intent was to create a contemporary hospitality structure that expresses simplicity, order, and elegance.

The façade utilizes a series of vertical architectural members that visually elongate the building and establish a strong identity while breaking down the scale of the massing.
Recessed windows and projecting frames generate depth and create dynamic light-and-shadow effects throughout the day.

The repetitive architectural language provides visual consistency while enhancing the overall proportions of the structure.
The entrance zone was designed as a welcoming arrival experience, with a prominent hotel signage band, covered drop-off area, and clearly defined access points.

The upper terrace level further enhances the hospitality experience by providing opportunities for recreational and social functions while contributing to the building's distinctive silhouette.

Overall, the design balances contemporary aesthetics with practical hospitality requirements, creating a structure that is both functional and visually memorable.

Materials Used
The exterior material palette combines textured architectural finishes, weather-resistant cladding systems, premium paint finishes, and aluminum-framed glazing to achieve durability and long-term performance. Neutral beige and grey tones have been employed to create a sophisticated appearance while maintaining timeless appeal.
Glass railings and large window openings enhance transparency and maximize daylight penetration into guest rooms. Architectural fins and projecting façade elements are finished in durable exterior-grade coatings that reinforce the building's modern character.
At the podium and entrance levels, stone-finish surfaces and high-quality cladding materials provide a sense of permanence and hospitality. The overall material selection prioritizes low maintenance, climatic durability, energy efficiency, and a refined contemporary aesthetic suitable for modern hotel developments.
